VANESSA JACKSON

Vanessa first commenced working with the firm in 2010 until February 2019. She then moved to a suburban firm for a brief period before returning to Barkus Doolan Winning in February 2022 as Special Counsel.  

Vanessa has been admitted as a Solicitor since October 2003 and has worked in the area of Family Law since that time. Vanessa is highly skilled in all areas of family law including property, spouse maintenance and parenting matters.

Vanessa is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and is a former chair of the Family Law Committee of the NSW Young Lawyers and is a former member of the Family Issues Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales. 

Vanessa is also trained in Collaborative Law.

Vanessa’s experience and attention to detail allows her to achieve exceptional outcomes for clients through negotiation, mediation and if necessary, litigation. Vanessa has represented clients in a broad range of disputes, including complex financial matters and difficult parenting cases.

Vanessa was recognised as a “Rising Star” in 2019 by “Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Market“.
