SIMON BRANNIGAN
Family Lawyer
Overview
Simon has worked exclusively in family law since being admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2022.
Prior to joining Barkus Doolan Winning, Simon worked as a paralegal and then as a solicitor in the family law team at a reputable law firm on Sydney’s North Shore, for over 6 years. Simon has demonstrated experience in all areas of family law, having worked on parenting, property and divorce cases involving complex factual and legal issues. Simon is confident appearing on behalf of clients in Court and during alternative dispute resolution, including private mediations, informal settlement discussions, and Court-facilitated dispute resolution events.
Simon has a strong attention to detail and believes being well prepared and providing timely and pragmatic advice to clients (who he understands may be facing one of the most challenging periods in their life) is of utmost importance.
